Meet your doula
I’m so happy you are here!
My name is Lauren Mackenzie and I am a certified Full-Spectrum Doula with a deep passion for birth, trauma-informed care and reproductive justice. After graduating from the Doula Studies program at Fanshawe College in 2020, I have been dedicated to supporting individuals through every stage of their reproductive journies—from birth and postpartum care to vital abortion support. I believe everyone deserves access to the information that isn’t always talked about, and I am here to make sure you are supported no matter where your journey takes you.
Over the past three years, I have had the privilege of learning and serving globally through Wombs of the World, an immersive & educational program for birth workers. I have travelled to Ecuador multiple times to learn from Indigenous midwives, as well as the opportunity to doula my heart out in a small birth clinic in Tanzania. These experiences have deeply enriched my practice and further solidified my commitment to providing culturally informed, compassionate care that honours the unique needs of each individual.
As a member of both the Association of Ontario Doulas (AOD) and the Collaborative Doula Collective, I offer a range of services to empower and support you including: birth support, postpartum care (daytime + overnight), abortion/termination support, mother blessing ceremonies, closing of the bones, breast/chest-feeding guidance, private labour & birth prep sessions for couples, and more.
As your doula, I am here to hold and empower you through every step of your journey, offering the support you deserve.
